Born in Rapallo, Gaia earned a classical high school diploma before embarking on a work-study year in Brisbane, Australia, where she took English language courses and began her professional career. This experience helped her discover her true passion: connecting with people from other cultures, exploring new places, and using different languages. She later lived in Brazil for three years, working as a hotel manager—a unique and unforgettable experience. In May 2017, she began a new chapter at AR92, managing short-term rentals. It is a fast-paced role that allows her to meet a diverse range of people and put the languages she has picked up during her travels to good use. She says that her role at AR92 makes her feel at home and like a citizen of the world all at once.
